İTÜ ARI Teknokent Introduces ARI ATLAS to the World at GITEX Europe

02 July 2026 - ITU ARI Teknokent on Media

İTÜ ARI Teknokent, Türkiye's leading innovation and technology hub, participated in GITEX Europe 2026, one of Europe's premier technology exhibitions held in Berlin, together with six technology startups. Alongside showcasing its entrepreneurial ecosystem, İTÜ ARI Teknokent also unveiled ARI ATLAS—a new digital platform designed to unite Turkish entrepreneurs, researchers, engineers, and technology professionals from around the world under a single global innovation network.

Held at Messe Berlin on June 30–July 1, GITEX Europe 2026 brought together global investors, corporate leaders, and technology innovators. During the event, six startups from the İTÜ ARI Teknokent ecosystem—Deepwise, Lidia Commerce, Omnitive, WearTechClub, Winfluencer, and ÇATOM—showcased their innovative technologies while exploring new international business and investment opportunities.

In addition to supporting the global expansion of its startups, İTÜ ARI Teknokent hosted a special event in Berlin on June 30, where it presented ARI ATLAS to an international audience for the first time. The launch brought together entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, engineers, investors, and technology professionals from across the innovation ecosystem to introduce a platform designed to connect members of the global Turkish technology community through a shared digital network.

A Unified Platform for the Global Turkish Technology Ecosystem

Developed by İTÜ ARI Teknokent, ARI ATLAS is a digital ecosystem where individuals, institutions, and projects can discover one another, exchange knowledge, and develop new collaborations.

Beyond its core networking platform, ARI ATLAS includes two dedicated modules:

  • Spark Map (Kıvılcım Haritası): An interactive map that highlights Turkish technology professionals living and working around the world.
  • ARI Innovation Hub: A collaboration platform connecting technology startups founded by Turks abroad with the İTÜ ARI Teknokent ecosystem and its network of partners.

ARI ATLAS is designed to do more than build a global communication network. By leveraging the data generated within the platform, it aims to identify the strengths of the Turkish technology ecosystem, connect companies with the expertise they need, facilitate international R&D and business partnerships, and create new opportunities where talent, knowledge, and innovation converge.

"We Are Connecting the Global Turkish Technology Ecosystem"

Speaking at the international launch of ARI ATLAS during GITEX Europe, Prof. Dr. Attila Dikbaş, General Manager of İTÜ ARI Teknokent, emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative for Türkiye's global innovation vision.

"For many years, İTÜ ARI Teknokent has connected startups with investors, industry, and academia. Today, we are expanding that approach on a global scale. By bringing together Turkish entrepreneurs, researchers, engineers, and technology professionals from around the world, we aim to foster knowledge sharing, enable new collaborations, and strengthen Türkiye's innovation ecosystem through a truly global network. We see ARI ATLAS not simply as a digital platform, but as a strategic infrastructure that will reinforce Türkiye's position within the global innovation landscape."

Strengthening the Global Journey of Turkish Startups

Through its participation in GITEX Europe, İTÜ ARI Teknokent continued to support technology startups in connecting with international investors, corporate companies, and potential business partners.

With the launch of ARI ATLAS, the organization is also introducing a new infrastructure that will strengthen startups' access to global collaborations, international expertise, and cross-border innovation opportunities.

The Berlin launch marks the first milestone in ARI ATLAS's international journey. In the coming years, the platform is expected to expand through new partnerships across leading technology hubs worldwide, creating an ever-growing global innovation network for the Turkish technology community.
