The Big Bang Startup Challenge's First Global Stage Will Be Held in London on September 26th
Turkish Entrepreneurs to Face Investors in London!
Starting a new journey to enhance the globalization process of technology startups through international hubs, ITU ARI Teknokent is taking the Big Bang Startup Challenge event, which showcases Turkey's top startups and facilitates their meetings with investors, to the global stage. The first of these events, Big Bang London Demo Day, will take place in London on September 26th. At this event, 15 technology startups will have the opportunity to meet with more than 60 investors in person and over 1,000 global investors online.
ITU ARI Teknokent recently announced that they would increase their support for the globalization process of startups with the launch of "Global Hubs" for technology entrepreneurs. In the same spirit, they are organizing this year's Big Bang Startup Challenge—Turkey's largest entrepreneurship event for the past 12 years—not only on Turkey’s stage but also in London. Big Bang London Demo Day will be held on September 26th at Level 39 in the Canary Wharf district, one of London's business hubs. The opening of the event will take place with the esteemed presence of T.C. Mr. O. Koray Ertaş, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the United Kingdom.Fifteen leading startups from Turkey will be brought together with over 1,000 global investors, both online and in person.
Big Bang Global Demo Day to Be Held for the First Time
Commenting on their expanded global reach and mission to build a "global ecosystem," ITU ARI Teknokent General Manager Prof. Dr. Attila Dikbaş said, "Since 2012, we have introduced technology entrepreneurs to investors, the press, and the public through the Big Bang Startup Challenge, connecting them with billions in resources. By expanding the event’s influence, we are launching a new global opportunity for our entrepreneurs. As part of the globalization strategies and activities initiated by ITU ARI Teknokent in 2024, we will organize Demo Days in global markets. Our first global demo day will take place on September 26th in London. With the goal of 'exporting from Turkey,' we will bring 15 selected technology startups together with more than 60 investors in person and over 1,000 investors online. The startups, seeking investments ranging from £250,000 to £2 million, will undergo an investment readiness boot camp from September 1st to 20th. On September 26th, at Big Bang London Demo Day, they will be connected with a highly effective and active network. I believe that the Innogate international programs run by ITU ARI Teknokent will serve as a gateway to global innovation for all of Turkey, starting from Istanbul."
