The countdown has begun for the Big Bang Start-up Challenge, which is organized every year by ITU Çekirdek Incubation Center, established by ITU ARI Teknokent to support technology startups and selected as the "World's Best University Incubation Center" by UBI Global. The event, which will be held for the 12th time this year at UNIQ Istanbul on December 13-14, will bring together the best startups from Turkey and the world with the business and investment world for two days.  

Turkey's biggest entrepreneurship event Big Bang Start-up Challenge, organized by ITU Çekirdek, the Incubation Center of ITU ARI Teknokent, is preparing to bring together the startup ecosystem from Turkey and around the world for two days this year. The Big Bang Start-up Challenge, which will be held for the 12th time on December 13-14, 2023, will introduce the best technology start-ups in their field to the business and investment world, thus preparing the ground for entrepreneurs to meet with their seed capital. The Big Bang, which provided more than 341 million TL in prizes, investments and cash support to startups last year and 850 million TL in the last three years, is expected to create a much larger resource this year. The event, which will be held at UNIQ Istanbul, is counting days to share this excitement with thousands of technology, entrepreneurship and innovation-oriented viewers.

 

Total value created by startups reached 1.5 billion dollars

ITU Çekirdek Incubation Center creates millions of dollars of added value for the Turkish economy by supporting an average of 500 startups every year. Since its establishment in 2011, ITU Çekirdek has supported more than 4,200 technology startups and contributed to the incorporation of 1,400 of them, helping them create employment for 10,000 people and receive investments worth 150 million dollars. The total valuation created by the startups within ITU Çekirdek has reached 1.5 billion dollars.

 

Startups born in ITU Çekirdek write their success stories with Big Bang

Hundreds of startups that have been developing their projects with the support of ITU Çekirdek for more than 10 years at Big Bang, which has witnessed dozens of success stories to date, have accelerated with the awards and investments they received on the Big Bang stage and reached global success stories. Among these startups, there are startups that have established a distribution network in more than 40 countries, received investments from Silicon Valley, changed industries and are the unicorn candidates of the future. In Big Bang 2023, as in previous years, startups that will be talked about a lot are expected to be born.
