Pandora, one of the 20 finalists of ITU Seed BIG BANG 2015 chosen amongst the 68 semifinalists, received investment by Erhan Erdoğan, investment partner of 500 Startups Turkey. Erdoğan announced that 500 Startups’ 7th partner in Turkey with an investment of 50,000 dollars would be Pandora, an ITU Seed initiative. Hazal Rodop, founding partner of Pandora said the following: “Mr. Erdoğan visited our booth after the presentation and when he could not find us, he talked with my father. Then we saw his tweet. He had shared the photograph of our booth and written ‘I came but you weren’t there.’ After a short conversation, he decided to invest in us. We could not be happier.” After that, Erhan Erdoğan shared a photo with the team from his own Twitter account, writing “This is an investment selfie.” Pandora also won a private office sponsorship for a year in Big Bang 2015.
